In 2003 me and Emiliano Grigis were supposed to share a "musical" project based on the figure of Donato Bilancia.
At that time Emiliano had already started recording some stuff under the monicker he took from his name, DON BALANCE, obviously recalling John Balance of COIL.
I've found his idea very brilliant, so I proposed him a four-handed work linking the image of Donato to Leonard Cohen, due to the resemblance I've always seen between the two.
Unfortunately this project has never seen the light, but recently I've used one of my tracks for the Bilancia-dedicated compilation cd "IN THE COSTELLATION OF LIBRA", out on Hellbones records (hellbonesrecords.bandcamp.com/album/in-the-constellation-of-libra).
Here you can find what my idea was like, plus a selection of tracks from my recording sessions dedicated to this issue.
They are a sort of variation on a theme, not including the version I've chosen for the Hellbones cd.
